STRASBOURG â The European Parliament today ratified the EU-Canada trade agreement, paving the way for it to come into force, most likely in early April.
408 lawmakers voted in favor, while 254 voted against. 33 abstained. The Canadian parliament is also expected to ratify the accord in the coming days.
